Christmas Muse

Winter WonderlandWinter WonderlandIt is Christmas morn before the house awakens, time for me to muse. It has been an incredibly busy month and so hectic that little notice was taken of the winter soltice, the shortest day of the year has come and gone. I have always felt that the placement of Christmas in the calendar year is perfect.

I Should Of Had Daughters

Funny how things change. When my two sons, Clayton and Daniel, were growing up they were doteing, protective, loving and affectionate. They were older before they stopped kissing me goodbye when I dropped them off at school.

Fall

Living in Canada makes for a fall work load that my siblings in Kentucky aren't familiar with. Closing the cottage means turning off and draining the water, covering the windows, protecting the beach from the inevitable wash out with the ice, and tightening up the building so that little critters don't move in.

Wes's Wrath

Soon, I will be hearing from Wes, my web master. He has encouraged me through the steeply inclined learning curve of my 'blogging'. Yes, yes, I have been remiss, hence I will hear from the 'Master'. Never fear, Wes, I do have things to say. Time and discipline seem to be in short supply but don't lose faith in me for blogging is synonomous with therapy. I get to have had my say!
