I have been in ‘slug mode’ for two whole weeks. I haven’t cooked a dinner, made a bed, dealt with clients or hardly even touched my computer. My sweetie and I have been on holidays, and I have surprised myself at how well suited I am at being a slug. I am a natural!!!

Have you ever been involved in a project that you are totally enlisted in, you believe in and you are excited about? Isn’t it funny how time and energy become available when we are ‘charged’ about a project. The creative juices begin to flow and hours pass but it only seems like minutes.

As I sit at the Fallowfield train station waiting to be rescued by CAA, I can’t help but contemplate the dualities of life. I have been so pleased to learn that I have been accepted to speak on a cruise ship this winter. The joy, challenge and thought of a new adventure have pumped my adrenaline.

It has been an incredibly busy month and so hectic that little notice was taken of the winter soltice, the shortest day of the year. I have always felt that the placement of Christmas in the calendar year is perfect.
